2018 Expressive Drawings
Over this past year, I have been studying with Susan O'neill at the Art League in Alexandria. Her classes have focused on expressive drawing and painting. Many thanks to her for helping me expand my approach so that my drawings are more dramatic and not just representational. New to my work is the incorporation of abstract backgrounds which adds a level of interest and challenge. Here are some examples of my recent figurative work:
